Terms of Service

These terms apply to all software published by Kevin Jagodic, trading as JKVN Apps, Maurichgasse 33/2, [PLZ] Wien, Austria (“we”, “us”), and to the website apps.jkvn.at. By downloading, installing or buying one of our apps you agree to these terms.

1. Purchases and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

2. Free trial

Each app can be tried for free for a limited time per Mac. The length of the trial is shown on the app's product page. You don’t need an account or a payment method to start a trial. We may change the trial length for future trials.

3. License

• When you buy an app, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased version, for personal or commercial use.
• One license may be active on as many Macs at the same time as stated on the app's product page at the time of purchase (usually 3 Macs). You can deactivate a Mac anytime at apps.jkvn.at/license.
• Updates within the same major version are included. New major versions may be offered as a paid upgrade.
• You may not share your license key publicly, resell it, or circumvent the license check, and you may not reverse engineer the software except where the law expressly allows it.

4. Activation

To check your license or trial, the app contacts our server occasionally and sends a pseudonymous device identifier. An activated app keeps working offline for up to 14 days between checks. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. If a purchase is refunded, its license key is deactivated.

6. Warranty and liability

We build our apps with care but cannot guarantee that they are error-free or work with every hardware and software combination. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage to life, body or health. For slight negligence, our liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage, as far as the law allows. Mandatory consumer rights, including statutory warranty rights, are not affected.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

8. Law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
