Waitlist

If you ask to be notified about an app's release, we store your email address, the app and the campaign source of your visit. You first receive one email to confirm the address (double opt-in). After confirming, you get a single email when the app is released, and then we stop emailing you. Unconfirmed sign-ups are never emailed again. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to [email protected].

Purchases

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment and billing details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. From Paddle we receive your email address, the order details, your country, and the campaign source of your visit, if there was one. We use this to create and send your license key and to keep our records. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

License emails are sent through an email delivery provider that processes your email address on our behalf, under a data processing agreement and, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Apps: trial and license check

To start a trial or check a license, the app sends the following to our server:

We store this to enforce the trial period and the device limit. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in preventing misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The apps contain no advertising or analytics SDKs.
